As a fellow curly girl, I’ve walked in those shoes. That’s why I’ve spent over eight years learning and mastering cutting-edge hair techniques and hair care for my own curls – and yours! I’ve helped countless people learn to love and care for their curls, too. Because no matter the curl type – and believe me, curls are as diverse as people – each curl holds its own authentic beauty.

But there’s two things you have to know first:
First, It’s a journey.
This isn’t an overnight process and it’s not for the faint of heart. But don’t let that keep you from my salon chair. I’m on this journey with you and will guide you each step of the way!
When we start, you can expect a thorough consultation on your first visit. We’ll talk about your curls, and your past curly experiences – good and bad – and start mapping out a blueprint for your curls.
Then we will start down the path together. I will offer hands-on education on styling and caring for your curls, recommending products best suited to your textures and needs. From appointment to appointment, you will learn what works best for you and your lifestyle, and how to best preserve your hair’s health and maintain its natural loveliness.
Second, Every curl is different
Your curls are yours alone. No one else can do their curls like you can.
Likewise, my curls are mine. No one else can do them like I can.
This is part of what makes curls authentic. All curls are created equal – but that doesn’t mean they can all do the same thing.
I encourage all of my clients to embrace what their curls can do. At my semi-private salon suite, designed to be comfortable and luxurious, we can work together to help you love the curls you’ve been given. After all, comparison is the thief of joy. You’ll be surprised at what you and your curls are capable of!

With The GEM Curly Cut, we pay attention to each curl, going beyond DevaCurl cut, incorporating Ouidad and other techniques. Whatever makes your curls the happiest!
Each cut creates a long lasting shape that compliments your curls and is designed to grow out well for easy maintenance. The GEM Curly Cut includes a signature shampoo, style, and a hands-on class at the time of service. I’ll spend some extra time with you creating your curly map for the road ahead!
Deep Repair Treatment (Add-on):
$55
Sometimes hair needs deep hair repair from the inside out. This luxury service repairs and soothes broken bonds and heals dry and damaged hair all the way to the cuticle layer.* This treatment includes a signature shampoo and styling.
*Disclaimer: this is a deep, deep treatment, but it will not repair permanently damaged hair
